Whether in the real or virtual world we are exposed.  No matter what our exposure is - in person, the media or internet - people form judgements and opinions about what THEY believe to be true based on what is read, seen or heard.  That means this happens without even having a personal experience!

As leaders everything we do counts - whether we hold the elevator door open for someone, position and ask by email or how we handle difficult situations.  It is the way we show up for the things we do and say that defines for others who we are.  What we need to consider are the results we want to achieve.  To consistently deliver an authentic experience of ourselves it becomes essential to define a personal brand that represents the best of who we are.  Doing this provides us with a path to greater success and more opportunities.
